"Agilent OpenLab Shared Services" service is not running

Hello,

my GPC/SEC instrument disconnected from the computer. The following message appears when i try to initiate the Agilent ControPanel program.

"Testing the connection to Local Server ...

"Agilent OpenLab Shared Services" service is not running"

Any recommendations on how to solve this issue? Thank you in advance.

    You will need to go to your WIndows Services app and restart the service, make sure you set that to a Running status, and an Automatic startup type.

    To get to the Services app you can do one of two things:

    1. Press the Start button on the bottom left of your screen, search for Services, you will have the Services app showing (it has some sort of a gear icon, as an identifier).

    2. Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard, and a Run app will open on the bottom left of your screen. Type services.msc in the text bar, and press Enter.
