calculate concentration out of Amount Mass% chromatogram

Its been a long time for me to have used chemcial formulas so hopefully someone could help me:

I have a chromatogram with the following:

component 1 = Amount mass% 0.9250

Component 2= Amount Mass% 98.7922

Is Amount mass the same as wt%wt%?

I calculated with the density and molar mass to get to M and from M got to concentration but im not sure if thats correct. Can someone help me with the correct formulas?

Thanku

  • Hello,

Please let us know the software and version you are using. Typically, if you are calculating mass% in our software, you have the concentration calculated already. If you need both mass% and the concentration, you could create a calculation in CC or IR to remove the sample amount and percentage factor from the compound concentration value.
