Let me describe the problem.
I'm developing report templates with OpenLab 2.5. One of the things I'd like to do is to bring the value from processing method for a specific compound into the report.
Let me give you an example:
Lets say I have a compound named API1 for which in processing method I have assigned the concentration unit = "x" . How can I bring this value for this specific compound into the text field in the reporting template?

Here is an example for what you want to do in your post. I will use the amount unit for Peak C. You can add a text field with the value as compound_amountunit to the report. Group the object with itself and repeat on any numeric value to allow filtering. Setup the filter as the compound_name = "Peak C" in this case and preview the report.
