We would like to use the e-sign function for our lab data in openlab 2.5
Is there a way to prevent the generation of a report until the data has been e-signed?
Work Process:
1. Sample is processed
2. Tech reviews data and "signs" it
3. Report is generated
We are using intelligent reporter to send data results to LIMS and we do not want to trigger the transfer until the chromatography is reviewed by the operating technician.

There is no way to restrict printing or file creation based on the signature state of the results in CDS. The only way would be if the original user that signed it at level 1 had no privileges to create reports. Then the final review signature level users could be given that privilege, but it sounds like that would not work in your case.

So that is not exactly true. If you add a processing method to the sequence, then any reports defined in the method will be created after the injection. However, in data analysis reports are not created when you reprocessed the data. To create reports, defined in the method, you must click print reports to generate printed reports or created files.
