Unreadable data files

Hi,

Does anyone know how to recover data/ convert data into a readable format when there are some missing files (ACMAL) preventing the software from reading them? All the data is there, as the sequence aborted on the last injection due to a leak, however we're unable to access any of the data on the 60+ previous injections. I have spoken to Agilent and they said they cannot repair my data set due to regulatory requirements.

Hello,

There is no user method to restore the data in a situation like this for the CDS 2.x software. I will assume from the post you are using some version of CDS 2.x, what version of CDS are you using?

What other files are missing apart the acaml? In C.01, I find I can still access the data even if the acaml file not present.

Using Open Lab CDS Data Analysis version 2.4. I'm very new to this software so still learning what it can do.

It appears that all the RX files are missing too, do you know what these are?

I believe these are results files. Do you have .dx files? This post may be useful; community.agilent.com/.../result-set-could-not-be-loaded

Hello,

Did the support group know you had an older version of the software? I would look into upgrading to the latest version of the CDS software as issues causing missing rx and ACAML files have been corrected. Also some self-repair features were introduced for cases where the system was interrupted during acquisitions.
