Software Development Kit (SDK) 2.1 for OpenLab CDS

Anybody out there using the Software Development Kit (SDK) 2.1 for OpenLab CDS ? I'm about to dig into this tool to take control over the analysis from a larger automation platform (in LabVIEW), and would be interested in contact and communication with others with some experience in this toolkit.

  • Hi Martin,

We are actively using the OpenLab SDK since 1.0 with OpenLab 2.4 Workstation, and are now using v2.0 with OpenLab Server v2.7.

We are primarily using the Acquisition parts, building and submitting sequences from our LIMS (StarLIMS). We are also tracking the instrument and run status, and have "links" to the result sets pertaining to a specific analysis.

Most of the interfacing between our LIMS and OpenLab is a "simple" command-line tool, where data is either read from stdout or resulting files.
