Openlab CDS Rev. C.01.10(201) report formatting issue

Hi,

In a report format, I'm trying to get the report to call on column "ppbv" and have it multiply the amount by the specific number of carbons associated with each analyte (in the diagram, the ppbc would be ppbv multiplied by 2 carbons).

Each analyte has a specific number of carbons associated with it. What formula do I write in the expression editor to call up a specific number for each analyte? Thank you for your help?

Hello,

If you have a compound custom field setup in your method for the carbon number and have entered the values in the sequence then you have the correct calculation. You will need to have this setup before you collect your results. You will need to add Val(Trim...) to convert the carbon number value to a number as the custom fields area always text.
