OpenLab ChemStation is now in version C.01.10. OpenLab CDS is the newest CDS and supports LC, GC, LC/MSD and GC/MSD, along with many non-Agilent LCs and GCs. OpenLab CDS has had 7 releases. The current release is 2.6. Learn more here: Chromatography Software - OpenLab CDS | Agilent
Thank you for your answer and for this information.
Hi Dheya,
In short, you can say that openlab chemstation can be used for LC,GC And other add on module but can not be used for GCMS or LCMS etc..
While Openlab CDS can be used for all like GC,LC,LCMS And GCMS etc..Even so many other features like other manufacturer instruments can be used and report database etc..
So openlab CDS is more advance and covering a lot of instruments as compare to Openlab chemstation..
And about latest versions, already ldoherty has mentioned in her reply....
Hi ISH
Thanks for your reply
Do we need training to use openlab CDS Or it's like openlab chemstation in use?
If you want to use as normal operator then okay..
But if want expertise on this then training need because openlab cds is like all in one...
I would suggest that moving from Chemstation to OpenLab CDS would need some training.
The Help and Learning system that comes with OpenLab CDS has a section of How To guides, that may help to get you started, but there enough differences between the two products to warrant at least a day of training.
