Instument status and online signals on GC

Question

I changed my acquisition method from using front FID to back FID. I changed this in the acquisition method detector, signals, and columns sections. On my status tab, the detector is still showing front FID and the online signals is showing no options for selection. I tried restarting the instrument and disconnecting and reconnecting to the software. How do I update this?

If you have physically changed the configuration of the GC, you will have to reconfigure the GC in order for the configuration to take it. Not sure if that is what you are missing, but that is what I would look into first.

To do so, you will have to go the control panel and click on your instrument and then configure (at the top). You will need the IP Address of the GC to reconfigure.
