You can change sample names in the injection list and reprocess data. I don't know if there is a way to change data file name - i suspect not.
You are correct. The sample name can be edited in the Injection List and the updated name will be saved in the results the next time the result set is reprocessed. The data file name cannot be changed after Acquisition, and the fields in this column will be grayed out in the injection list to reflect this.
Hello,
The injection list is not selected by default in any of the standard layouts in CDS data analysis. You will need to add that window to a layout of your choice by selecting it from the windows in the ribbon bar.

So when the sample is run, there is no way to change the file name? Say i miss type Sample 1 and I want it to be Sample 2 instead, is there any way to change this?
Hello,
You can change any information about the injection in the sample list that is not greyed out. For instance, you could change the sample name, sample type, then reprocess to update those values but you cannot do the same for data file name and injection time. The only column in the injection list that is greyed out that can be change is the processing method and that would be done by linking another processing method.

So this means when you can't change the name in the "Open data" either? When a sample is run you cannot change the file name but you can change the name in the injection list but this does not change the name of the data file, which means that the sample would still have the same name in both result map and "open data"?
