We are trying to run backup and restore to prove that we can recover the system in case of disaster.
We're using ECM XT Import Scheduler Backup every weeks to perform the backup.
How can we test the backup/restore in our environment?
Are there any special requirements for backup and restore of a system running OpenLab database that we should be aware of?

I will assume you mean you are using the backup restore tool for CDS 2.4 not the ECM XT import scheduler. If you have setup an import scheduler task to back the ECM-XT system up that would be self-referential and would not actually back anything up. I have attached the manual for that software. I would backup the system and then try a restore to a new system in an isolated environment, so it does not disrupt the current system. The other option is you are using the ECM XT import scheduler to backup files from some other computer system and you want to test that process. If that is the case it will be based on the other system and what files you are backing up. I would just test a subset of files to see if you can recover them back to the original system from ECM-XT once swept.
