elution buffer for hydrophobic HPLC

I want to separate an extraction I did with ethyl acetate (very hydrophobic)
I am going to test the product for biological activity. Requesting a recommendation for an elution buffer. i use XBridge C8 3.5m 4.6x150mm column for running on HPLC

Hi Julib,

that is not nearly enough information to give you advise on a separation. What are the components and their pKa's, that will determine what kind of buffer you need.
