Detection limit

Question

I want to determine low molecular organic acid in HPLC using Agilent 1290 infinity ii UV detector. Can anyone say what is the detection limit of that instruments? Thanks

Hi tamjid, 
 a detection limit is dependent on multiple factors: detector type, analyte structure, detector cell volume, injection volume, internal volume of your tubings, system noise, retention time, peak width, etc. Therefore we cannot just predict a limit of detection and you have to do this the textbook way.
