PoraBOND-Q - elution "upper limit"

Dear Agilent,

We consider too use a PLOT PoraBOND-Q (25 m x 320 um x 5 um) for separation of "gasoline like" hydrocarbons (C1-C8+) mixed with light oxygenates (C1-C4 alcohols, C1-C3 ethers) in gas phase samples. We don`t expect or need full separation of all components injected.

What are the "upper limits" for this PoraBOND-Q column regarding components? Are aromatics C6-C10, up to naphthalene, expected to elute on PoraBOND-Q?

We are able to install a pre-column for backflush of high boiling point components, if needed. We will probably use hydrogen as carrier gas.

Best regards -
