Web Client for ECM 3.5/3.6 are browser independent: IE, Edge, Safari, Chrome, FireFox are supported.
An idea for a quick & easy test is a portable version of the browsers (this usually does not require admin rights):

PS: if IT now set IE to obsolete: is a very good idea (it is insecure & outdated: e.g. the support of many innovations is missing)
Thanks mhardacker ! It is probably just a setting that we need to figure out. We have settings issues with other sites
It's worth noting that the web client is not the same as the fully installed client on a 'normal' ECM client PC. Standard functionality is included but not all tasks are possible with the web client. For everyday tasks however, the web client will be useful in this case. I was asked when the full ECM client will be supported in other browsers and when I queried internally, I was told an update should be provided later this year.
Browser settings can be quite tricky: IT may have implemented some browser addons => this is also a good argument for a portable solution.
Good, but complex diagnostics can be displayed in the browser with F12 key (Edge & Chrome).
