How to write a stopprogramm for an HPLC? (1260 Infinty II)
In chromeleon create a new instrument method, I name mine shut down. Set the flow rate to 0, set the run time to 1 minute. At the end of your sequence add one more injection to the end. Set this as your shudown. Make sure in the main sequence window your volumen is set to 0 and your instrument method says shutdown (or whatever you choose to name your shutdown method). If you don't set this on your main sequence page and have those set to the same as whatever method you are running in the sequence it will continue running the method. Make sense? I also use the same hplc and same software.
That depends on what software you have. With chemstation, you can put in a shutdown macro to shutdown the instrument after the last run. With openlab 2-2.2, you will need to create your own method with a zero flow and an off thermostat. Then in the control panel, you can set the lab wide settings to shut off the lamp maybe 30 minutes after the last run. With openlab 2.2 or later, there is an LC shutdown available with the software. I hope this gets you moving in the correct direction.
I Use Chromeleon with an Agilent HPLC. There is a Smart shutdown and smart standby but they dont work. I also tried to set the flow at the end to 0 ml/min but it also didnt work.
Thanks for the answer, i try it out today. Thanks for the help.
It worked thanks!!
