Student renames datafile in Windows File Explorer, no longer openable in OpenLabs?

I have had a student attempt to rename their files in Windows File Explorer (*.dx and *.rx) files. It appears they did not like the tokens they set up given their file name. Upon trying to re-open any data in Data Analysis they were unable to open these files. I figure the sequence information can no longer point to the correct file location. They tried to rename these files back to their original filenames as specified by the sequence but could still not re-open them with Data Analysis. Is there a solution to fixing this naming problem?

Just fyi, I already just recommended rerunning samples and don't mess with filenames afterwards. That being said I'd like to know if there is a solution given the number of new students that will be used the instrument yearly.
