I am currently using a Chemstation B.04.03 software and have its 3D spectral evaluation module installed. However, I do not see the "Spectra" function in the toolbar. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Just to clarify, was the Spectral Evaluation Module was added to the correct instrument when you were installing/upgrading?
And is the HPLC instrument you are configuring compatible with the Spectral Evaluation Module? What model DAD are you using?
Thanks for the reply. Since I am a new posdoc in the lab, I am not sure whether they installed the Spectral Module properly at the beginning or not. Please see the attached picture, it seems installed to me. And the DAD is a 1260DAD (G4212B).
In the Add Instruments Setup Wizard window that is featured in the first picture in your last reply, if you click on the 'Next' button it will take you to a page that lists all of the registered license keys. On that page is there a 3D Spectral Evaluation License Key listed with product number G2180BA?
Please do not post a picture of that page in your next reply. Just check it and let me know what you see. We do not want other people to have access to your license keys.
There is a license for the LC chemstation but no license number for the 3D spectral Evaluation. Is that means our software does not have access to the spectra function?
Yes, that is unfortunately correct. Without a registered license key for 3D Spectral Evaluation then you will not have access to the Spectral functions in Data Analysis.
