We are using MH Quant, Qual and Unknowns rev 10. Have you seen documentation on how data is deskewed before deconvolution is done in Unknowns ? Is the deskewing process the same in Quant Target Deconvolution and in Qual Find > Find by Chromatogram Deconvolution ?
Thank You
The Deconvolution algorithm used by the MassHunter software, which is basically identical between all MassHunter applications, does not have to do a classical deskew of the spectra to account for ion heights being different by mass on the rising and falling side of a peak. The algorithm extracts an EIC of each mass in the spectra and uses peak apex similarity to group "EIC peaks" together to create a compound spectra.
