We use a basic customized intelligent report for our 7890B GC data, showing sample/method/instrument information, a chromatogram (TIC) and the tabulation data (retention time, peak width, peak area). For some samples there is an abundance of peaks which pushes the tabulation to a 2nd page. When this happens there is no identifying information printed on the 2nd page.
How can I add the sample information to the 2nd page? (I do NOT always want a 2 page report.)
Sounds like this information could be added to the header section of the template, but it doesn't allow me to do that. What CAN you add to the header section other than an image or plain text?
Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, it is not possible to add the sample name field into the header of an intelligent report in C.01.07 SR3. Support for data fields and other report items in the report header and footer was added in C.01.08 and improved upon in C.01.09.
In C.01.07 SR3, only some special objects like text, images, and page number were supported in the header and footer. This means that you would need to add a sample name field in order to get it displayed on a second page.
