For OpenLAB CDS C.01.07, is there a Classic or Intelligent Report for %RSD? Also, how do you get a report to draw in multiple injections for %RSD; e.g., peak areas and retention times?
I added tags to this post to increase visibility.
Yes, ChemStation has the capability of reporting %RSDs for peak retention times and areas across all injections collected in a sequence. This type of report is called a Sequence Summary Report.
There are a number of default sequence summary intelligent report templates that you can use (SequenceSummary_Short.rdl, SequenceSummary_Standard.rdl, SequecneSummary_Extended.rdl, etc...). Each of these reports has a section labeled "Sample Statistics" where it reports the RT, Amount, Area, and Height of your compounds across all injections in the sequence. Mean, StdDev, and RSD values will then be calculated for those values. These values can also be reported on a classic sequence summary report.
To setup for a sequence summary report to be generated at the completion of your sequence, you need to go to Sequence>Sequence Parameters. In The Sequence Output tab you then select the report type (classic v intelligent reporting), the report template, and report destination:
For a classic sequence summary report you want to make sure that you select to include statistics for your sample runs in the setup menu in order to get RSD displayed.
Once the report is setup in the sequence parameters, the next time you acquire or reprocess a sequence with that sequence template it will generate a sequence summary report.
If you want to use an Intelligent Report template, you can also generate sequence summary reports in the Review view of ChemStation.
Hopefully this helps.
