Finding data files

When we run samples on our 7890B GC w/ OpenLab, we automatically get an intelligent report printout with the data file name.  However, when using Data Analysis in the software, all of the data files are stored in a folder that is only visible via sequence name.  This can be problematic when all you have is your piece of paper with the data file name and the sequence was not saved properly or by an identifying characteristic to tie it back to that particular data file.  You have to look through every sequence run on that date to find the file.

I'm told that in the intelligent report I should be able to modify the data file name to include the whole file thread, but that would be long and not my first choice.

Is there another option to view the data via data file name (like in ChemStation) instead of the sequence name?

PS - if the entire file name is my only other option, how do I modify that field?
