My sequence aborts whenever I try to add more lines or injections after initiating. Is it possible to make modifications to the sequence after starting the sequence without it aborting?

It sounds like the instrument in question is a 7890 series GC with a G1888A headspace sampler. Is that correct? If so, you should be able to append lines to a running sequence as long as the rules outlined below are followed:
• You can append a vial or set of contiguous vials to a running sequence as long there are at least two vials in the sequence table that have not been processed. This means you can never append to a sequence that has only 2 samples.• The appended vial number must be sequential. For example, if your current sequence table contains vials 1–10, you must append vial number 11. (You cannot skip vial 11 and append vial 12. You cannot append vial 9.)
• All appended vials must use the same method as the last vial in the current sequence.
Hopefully this helps.
After appending a line and clicking OK on the sequence table, is there a way to modify the appended line or any line which has not been processed yet?
You should be able to edit the sequence after the line has been appended, though I think the first restriction in my previous reply would still apply:

I do not have a G1888A system to test this on though.
