I’m using a 1260 Infinity II with Openlab, and for the last few months the instrument will randomly hang up during an injection. There is no error message. For example, today I was running a single blank test injection with a 32 minute run time and it froze up at 29.56 minutes and wouldn’t progress to the end of the run. It would not allow me to stop or abort the injection it just sat there reading 29.56 minutes. I had to exit out of the online software and reboot the instrument and computer. The method that it locked up on was created from defaults so it is unlikely to have been corrupted. It has done this during the middle of a sequence also. We aren’t sure if this is a connectivity issue between the computer and instrument, or if this is a memory problem with the computer. So what can we do to find out what the problem and fix it? Lab adviser does not register an error.
