Would you mind providing us with the software product and revision that you are using? Is this OpenLab CDS ChemStation, OpenLab CDS EZChrom, or OpenLab CDS 2.x? You can determine the revision by going to Help>About or File>About (depends on the software).
Are you able to post screenshots of what you are seeing?
Thank you for your email.
We are using Open Lab CDS ChemStation B.02.09 version.
Please have a look of sample name in page 1 and 2. We are missing few letters for sample name in page 1 but have complete sample name in page 2.
We need to have complete sample name in sequence summary report for auditors.
B.02.09 is not a revision of OpenLab CDS ChemStation. Would you mind double checking the version?
There is a character limit for the Sample Name field on classic sequence summary reports, which is why the name is being truncated. An alternative would be to use an intelligent report for your sequence summary report.
I also notice that you are using some unsupported special characters in your sample name such as '#' and ',' which can potentially cause problems in the software. I recommend sticking to the supported characters of a-z, A-Z, 0-9, -, and _.
We are using Chemstation version : Rev.B.03.02[ 341].
I think QC is using intelligent reporting style. need to check with QC Team.
will try to run sequence next week as suggested and will provide you an update
If you are using B.03.02 then Intelligent Reporting will not be an option for you. This feature was introduced in OpenLab ChemStation.
Unfortunately, the sample name column in the classic sequence summary report is fixed to a width of 16 characters. I am not aware of a way to change this.
