at Acquisition script no pump seal wash going off

    beerbaum

      Hi,

we update MassHunter Acquisition to B.08.00. After this the seal wash  doesn't go off at worklist scripts "Instrument Standby" or "PumpsAllOff". The same bug if I use the red "Turn devices off" Botton in the main window.

We have a binary pump G1312A with Firmware A.07.01 [001].

What can we doing? Is it a bug in MassHunter oder in the scrips? In MassHunter B.05.01 all was ok.

      Best regards

            Hi beerbaum,

What operating system are you running? We are aware of an issue with Windows 7 involving some windows updates. Are you running Windows 7?

                Hi,

yes, we use Windows 7 Professional, SP1. At the Installation date of new Masshunter acquisition the technician update Windows too.

Do you know what update of Windows was the bad.

                Thanks,

                beerbaum

The Q-TOF Acquisition Worklist script defect can be resolved by applying all Microsoft Inc. Important and Optional Window 7 updates, as recommended in the 6500 Series Q-TOF Installation Manual.

If the acquisition computer cannot be updated with all Microsoft Inc. Important and Optional Window 7 updates, the following steps will resolve the defect:

                    Step 1:

Ensure the following Windows Update is installed

                    Windows6.1-KB2999226

This update is pre-installed on the Agilent Z440 TOF/Q-TOF Workstation and can be verified through the Windows Control Panel / Programs / Programs and Features / Installed Updates.

                    Step 2:

Install the following Microsoft Inc. Important Windows Updates provided on the MassHunter Acquisition for 6200 and 6500 Series TOF / QTOF / IM-QTOF B.08.00 (8058) DVD, located in the Support\Windows_Updates subdirectory:

                       Windows6.1-KB3020369
                       Windows6.1-KB3172605

                    Step 3:

The post-acquisition Worklist scripts require the following additional Important Windows Update to execute. This update requires to be installed using “Run as Administrator.”:

                       msxml4-KB954430-enu

This Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 for x64-based Systems (KB954430) cannot be uninstalled.

                    Step 4:

Navigate to Windows 7 Services and Disable the following service

                    WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service

When the above steps have been the completed, the Worklist Scripts will execute as expected.
