    power switch

      Hey guys,

The power switch on one of our 1200 HPLC modules (the column compartment) does not stay compressed, so if not held in or with assistance by tape, it will power off.  Any recommendations on how to fix?  Seems to be a simpler problem than one that requires a service tech visit.

      Thanks for any help!

      Bert

Hi there! I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the power switch pipe is not at all easy to replace. It's more difficult than the mainboard, to give you an idea, because it actually sits at the bottom of the module, below all of the major components, and connects from the front to the back of the instrument where the power supply is. Unfortunately, a repair visit would be necessary and recommended.
