Just wondering if there is a way to use MassHunter to open the data file generated by ChemStation software?
Yes, there is a MassHunter LC/SQ ChemStation Integration Software tool that is found on the LCMS MassHunter Supplemental DVD.
Here is a link to the Quick Start Guide for this tool: https://www.agilent.com/cs/library/usermanuals/public/G3785-90000_ChemStationIntegrator_QuickStart.pdf

Are you referring to data collected in MSD ChemStation software? If so, then there is a GCMS Translator tool available on the GC/MS MassHunter Acquisition Supplemental DVD that you can use to convert data collected in MSD ChemStation to a format readable by the MassHunter Qual and Quant products.
Below is what the desktop icon would look like for the translator if you have it installed:
My data file was generated by GC-MS on ChemStation, version E.02.02.1431. How can I get this tool?
The GCMS Translator tool is available with the purchase of MassHunter and comes on the provided MassHunter installation media.
Thanks. My data file was generated by LC-MS on Chemstation. Do you have a tool like LCMS Translator also?
