we use 2 HPLC detectors in series: UV and gamma radiation. Each of the signals needs a calibration table with its own units for the compound amount. Is there to do this in the calibration table and report?
Unfortunately, you can only define one amount unit in your calibration table in OpenLAB ChemStation. If you truly need to specify different units at the calibration table level, then you would need to create two methods.
A possible alternative would be to create an intelligent report template with two result tables, one for each signal. You could then customize the tables to have different units reported in the column headers. Let me know if you would like to pursue this approach and I can write up a quick how-to.
There a few software products that fall under the OpenLAB CDS umbrella. Are you running OpenLAB CDS ChemStation, OpenLAB CDS EZChrom, or OpenLAB CDS 2.x?
Once you find out what software product you are running, the next piece of information we would want is what revision of software are you running? Depending on the software product you can find this either by going to Help->About or File->About.
thanks for your reply. I'm sorry for my weak description. We use OpenLAB CDS ChemStation v C.01.07
We'll try the reporting option. We'll ask for the how-to, if we can't figure it out. Thank you very much.
