Hi David, in this version, unlike the OpenLab ChemStation you posted about earlier, there is no built-in option to automatically copy the report to another location. You would need to have a custom macro written or use another software to copy your files after they are generated.
for below MSD ChemStation version,
we can modify the marco file :“c:\msdchem\msmacros\quantbeg.mac”
as follows to automatically publish the txt file to specified directory.
if noask =0
_datapath$ + _datafile$ + "\" + quant_file$,"S:\" +
How do you think it would be possible for below chemstation version?
ps: I can not find marco file: quantbeg.mac. in below version.
David, the two softwares you are comparing are very different from one another, even though they both bear the name ChemStation. The first one is for GCMS and the second for LCMS, but they are not built on the same platform.
The macro you have in the GCMS ChemStation in your first example appears to be copying a quant report file.
For the LCMS ChemStation you are asking about, a combination of a custom macro and the USER.MAC macro located in \Chem32\Core (so that the custom macro is always employed when start ChemStation) should do the trick. Unfortunately, whereas what you’re asking about is possible, macro writing or editing falls outside of the scope of the Community, so I would encourage you to contact your local Agilent support office for in-depth technical support or for consulting opportunities for a macro to be written for you.
let me try it.
