report has been generated sucessful when use classic report.
but no report be generated when use intelligent reporting. why?
what different between "report style" in classic reporting and "report template" in intelligent reporting?
I edited the tags on this post to increase visibility.
Did you save the method after making this reporting change?
How did you try to trigger the report to print? Did you go to the 'Report' dropdown menu in Data Analysis and select the option to 'Print Report'?
yes, i had click on the option "Print report"
after click with "intelligent reporting", folder "DA.M" had been generated, but no IRRreport be found in folder.
The template you seem to be using is for an ISTD quantitation. Is that what your calibration table and set up for in the method you’re using? If you’re not sure, please post a screenshot of the quantitation settings tab in the specify report window and also the complete calibration table of that method.
quantitation setting like below:
I had try all report template one by one, but none of them generate report sucessful.
another instrument, openlab version like below:
intelligent report generated is OK.
Just to clarify, if the report was being generated then it would not be in your DA.M folder. That is your Last Results method and unless you are telling ChemStation in the Specify Report settings to copy the report file into the DA.M folder then no report file should ever be saved there by the software.
If you are printing a report to a file then that file should be getting generated in that data file's *.D folder. Have you looked for the .txt report in the CAN18-040753-005.D folder? If not, does this folder contain a file with a *.acaml extension?
below is file list in then CAN18-040753-005.D folder after use intelligent reporting just now.
It looks like this data file was collected on a LCMS instrument. Are you trying to report MS results, UV results, or both?
Support for Intelligent Reporting with LCMS data was not introduced until OpenLAB CDS ChemStation revision C.01.06. It is possible that this is a limitation of the C.01.04 revision you are using if you are trying to report MS results.
Check to see if you can print an intelligent report for one of the LC demo data files. Those data files should not cause any problems for the Intelligent Reporter.
I see , thank you for the explanation.
this is bad news for us.but I know what I`ll do.
David, very importantly with regard to your question -- was the data you're trying to generate an Intelligent Report for collected in OpenLAB ChemStation (Revisions C.01.01 to C.01.08)? If not, what software was used to acquire it?
my software information like below:
and other detail ahout intelligent reporting please see previous reply.
For our Chmstation C01.08, I also noticed that if both "File" and "Screen" being selected, the report will be created as PDF file in specified folder, but not on screen. If only selected "Screen", the PDF report will be opened on screen after the run is finished.
thank you for your share.
I think we should upgrades openlab version.
