    E-Signed Data in OpenLab CDS

    instrumentspecialist

Is there a way to create a report in the OpenLab control panel that shows the which results have not been e-signed?  The only report I can create is in Content Manager and that has everything not e-signed, e.g. methods, projects, reports, etc.

Would you mind providing the version of OpenLAB CDS that you are using?

              I am using version 2.2.  Thank-you.

                  Sorry for the delay.

I am still looking into this. As of yet I am only seeing what you mentioned in your original post.

Thank-you ryoboyle.  I am using version 2.2 and cannot seem to create a report for unsigned results only.

                          Hi,

Just to clarify. When you E-sign, you are signing an entire result set, not just a single result. So when you say you cannot create a report for unsigned results only... Do you mean, for a results set that is not signed, you are unable to print a report? Or you want a report that shows all results that are NOT signed, e.g. a cross sequence report?

Remember, you cannot create a report until the data is saved. So if you have reprocessed the data, but not saved, then the print report dialogue is unavailable.

An example of where in the process you are unable to create a report would be useful. e.g. Acquired Data>Created Processing Method>Processed Data>Saved Data>Created Report> --- Unable To Create Report Here ---, would be extremely useful.

                          S

Thank-you, Shaneo. I will try to clarify.   I would need to have a report which shows results that is not signed, e.g. an analyst has processed and saved the results, then e-signs the results, at which point it would go to the next level e-sign.  I would need to have a report which just shows the results not e-signed by the analysts at level 1, as well as at other levels.

I'd be interested in that, too.

It would also be a great feature, if the signature status would be visible in the result set overview in data selection. At the moment it is necessary to load an individual result set to check if it has been signed and/or locked.

                                  Best regards, Bernd

                                    Hello,

This is a feature which is already in OpenLab CDS v2.x.

The first thing to have is the the signature privileges as well as user roles. The below shows the setting of a project:

One example of report that integrate the e-Signature reporting is the "Audit_Trails_Report" which is a default report that aims to report the data integrity of a result.

If no signature, the last page of the report will show the following:

The first user, sign the result:

The e-Signature will appear in the audit trail, as well as in the e-Signature section:

Once signed by the authorizing e-Signature level:

This is only an example of report. You can customize your own report dragging and dropping the following items in the report:

Result Set Audit Trail (exists also for injection, method, sequence, ...):

                                    E-Signature report item (for sample):

The column or message when no e-Signature had been entered can be modified by going in the report item properties.

                                    I hope this helps.

                                    Regards,

                                    Pierre
