I already measured dyes, paints and resins in the past. The easiest way would be to use a hot needle technique. Instead of injecting the liquid directly into the GC., the volatile (as well the heavy volatiles) are only introduced via the Headspace sampler to the GC.
You can use a 20 ml Headspace vial and add 5-10 µl of your sample into the vial. Afterwards the vial is then getting equilibrated at 200-280°C before the vapour is introduced into the GC. With this the need for sample preparation is reduced as well as GC Maintenance need (Liner, Column).
