Error: instrument has shutdown unexpectidaly

Could be many things. What is the detector?  Can you look at the logbook to see the error?

It's FID detector . in the activity log the message is: Disconnected from xxxxxxxx (computer no.) instrument controller. Error: instrument has shutdown unexpectidaly . this is the exact message obtained in activity log .

before starting the sequence i have restarted both computer and system .

what could be the reasons for this ?

please check the system activity log for error message in operating system software .

Were you able to resolve the issue? I would check the power saving features in the PC to make sure its not going asleep during the sequence.
