Thanks. I have have tried having it load the default.m and configuring an offline instrument but go same result from software. Agilent tech says software is corrupted and will probably need to be uninstalled and reinstalled. Bummer.

There could be a corrupt file in the method it is trying to load. If you reconfigure the instrument, it then will try to load default.m. However if you reconfigure the instrument, you will need to retune the mass spectrometer.
