The high frequency noise of Turbo V 81-M (Model 969-8903)

If the turbo is squealing continuously when at full speed and during ramp-up, it is an indication of a bearing problem.

Thanks. If it's the bearing problem, will the pump works at higher current and becomes warmer? It's only 31 degrees.

I know the chamber looks huge. Actually there is another turbo pump on this chamber. The vacuum is 7*10-8 mbar now.

It may run OK, but the noise won't go away because the rotor bearings are bad and can only get worse.
