When trying to run a sequence, user gets error "macro has no name"

This is not the running of the sequence, but results from the simulation of the sequence.

Simulation of the sequence results in the same error. Ran log file and was erroring out on ldfile$. Ldfile$ resides in simseq.mac.

Look to see if a file lastdata.mac exists in the method. It stores the last data file size that was acquired during last sequence and uses it to determine if enough disk space to run this sequence. If it does not find lastdata.mac, then it uses default size of 50,000 bytes.

Root cause:

lastdata.mac is corrupt.

Solution:

Rename the lastdata.mac file, and now sequences run.
