Why are you linking film about sequence for HPLC?

Did you even read my question?

It shows up for me in the Acquisition Method under ALS --> Injector, not in the sequence.

You didn't read my question. I know where you set it up - I just cannot figure out where you specify vial positions for L1/L2/L3.

Please read questions carefully.

The L1/L2/L3 positions are labeled on your auto-sampler turret and will not change.  Typically, the vials are manually placed in the L2 and L3 positions and remain throughout the sequence.  L1 reflects the sample vial position.  

This Help screen capture is from a more recent version of OpenLab CDS, but it shows where the L1/L2/L3 vial positions are depending on the turret you are using.  

If I may ask, which keywords were you applying within MassHunter?  That will help us understand what workflow you are accustomed to running, and allow us to better comment on ways to do this in other software platforms.
