Due to network connection lost, the activity log was unavailable, the run queue was aborted and I couldn't launch any shutdown method.

Look like some setting change.
Try to restart everything then check.
Is it connected with server.
Check clock zone timing of pc n server..sometimes that conflict create such problem.
Yes, after restarting the Acquisition program, the activity log is back and shutdown method can be submitted and running. Thank you so much your help!
