Calibration GC

Hi  community

I have a simple question it may sound strange,

what is perfect duration of calibration GC ,some labs do it every six months to save standards but use cheap SQC sample ( Statistical quality control) every week  and some every month.

    Hi Dheya,

    Running SQC sample and keep record of SQC chart are for audit purpose. Frequency of running SQC and calibration are as per Quality Method of Lab.

    If any Lab is ISO17025-2017 accredited then as per their Lab quality manual they have to perform mothly/weekly/six month/yearly because external auditor will check all documents as per quality manual agreed between Lab and external auditor body.
