How do I use the format F3 code?
I want report with 3 significant numbers, but the value format can not be edited.
if the data your trying to format is a number, why can't you just use the built in number formatting?
If you don't see this, then there may be some ambiguity in the data you're trying to format. To force the values to be numbers, you could use CDbl() or CInt().
If you really want to use format F3, for 3 decimal places, this would work for Peak_Area
=String.Format("{0:F3}",Peak_Area)
Replace F3 with G3 for significant digits

Thank you so much! Value properties was not available due to text within the expression bar and I have placed the () at the wrong place when using Cint conversion
