I know that before loading a Capitva EMR cartridge 20% water should be added to an acetonitrile extract but I have found in this paper "Fast and Sensitive Quantification of D9-Tetrahydrocannabinol and Its Main Oxidative Metabolites by Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry" by Vozella et al, an approach in which the cartridge is preconditioned with water:ACN=1:4 and then just a brain tissue ACN extract is added (see attachment).
Is this approach correct?
