I've got a 5973 MSD where the Quad temperature is exceeding the set point of 150 at about 180 degrees. We replaced the ceramic source board and the Quad heater/sensor assembly, which did not resolve the issue. What else could we try?

Hi Steve,
I assume you are loading the tune file you are always using. Assuming that the only other part would be the Main board.
Typically anything past set point should give you a temperature fault. If this is not the case it would be unusual. The next step is a main board , but I would suggest onsite by a trained Agilent Service Representative.
