Cary 60 48-Hour Residence Time Impact on UV Instrument

Hello,

I am working with a Cary 60 UV instrument and need some guidance regarding a specific test setup. My testing process involves kinetic testing (KTT), where the residence time lasts up to 48 hours.

  • My question is:
Could maintaining such an extended residence time (48 hours) potentially harm or impact the performance of the instrument? Has anyone here encountered similar setups or have experience with such long-duration testing?

Any insights, recommendations, or precautions I should follow to avoid damaging the instrument would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!
