Cary5000 offline

We have a Cary5000 instrument, purchased in 2008, the instrument can not be connected to the computer during use, check the connection line is intact, repeated boot test can not be connected, I do not know what caused this problem. The working software has not been reinstalled. Please also give me a lot of advice, thank you very much!

    It may be that the GPIB drivers are corrupted.

     

    If you are using a GPIB-USB converter do the following:

     

    1. Power down the Cary 5000 and the computer.
    2. Disconnect the USB end at the computer.
    3. Power up the Cary 5000 and the computer.
    4. Once both are on, connect the USB cable to the computer.
    5. The drivers will reload.

     

     

    If you are using a GPIB card do the following:

     

    1. Go the National Instruments website (www.ni.com)and download the GPIB 488.2 drivers for your Windows operating system
    2. Uninstall your current GPIB drivers.
    3. Restart your computer.
    4. Install the drivers you downloaded.
    5. Restart your computer and open the WinUV software.
