Agilent 630 Status light blinking

Question

Nothing happens when clicking on the Start button in Microlab. Blinking red to the left of "Status" and green colored "Ready" to the right.

 could you check if the accessory module is correctly connected (i.e. transmission, ATR, dialpath, etc.).? You could disconnect the accy module, reconnect and check the gain and energy in Diagostics screen: energy should be around ~25000. If too low: try adjusting the gain (by clicking "Gain adjust" button) to reach the 25k. Additionally, you might want to check the laser signal; this should be around 7500.
