MicroLab PC error during saving file

Hi Everybody,

I have an issue with our newly installed MicroLab PC software Connected to Cary 630 FTIR. The software was installed successfully and I have started to Trial user group set up.

What I have done so far: I have created a data base. I have created Group, Project and User all linked to the data base. Associate table is also updated with the relevant access to the project.

MicroLab PC opens with no problem, but when I try to run a trial test after sample testing I have got an error message stating (" Error saving Results file - No workspace open").

I have tried to set alternative folder within the database, but did not work either. Can anybody help me what I need to set differently?

  • I have figured it out. I leave it here, in case somebody else has similar issue. It turned out, as the newer version of MicroLab is associated with separate SQL database, in the FTIR method Reports section, the save folder has to be specified. Now it saves the results with no problem.
