Multicell Transport UV-8453

Question

Hello! I am trying to fixed a multicell transport for a 8453. The cable assembly (Part No. G1120-81600) has a switch that I can not find neither its function nor its location inside the multicell.
Someone could help me please?

 The User manual which includes available part numbers and procedures may be found at https://www.agilent.com/cs/library/usermanuals/public/G1120-90001.pdf 
 The linear drive kit part number has changed to G1120-68706. 
 Agilent does not provide support for internal repairs.
