Error codes E9604 and E9608, on a Cary 5000

Hi 

First check visible lamp is litting or not.

If not litting then change it.

Second check there is any clear obstruction around lamp or not.If yes, try to remove it.

If still not solve, then onsite troubleshooting require..

Typically a Micron Datum Error (9604) means that the micrometers are having issues. They may need to be replaced or repaired (new drive belt, etc.)

Yes, you are correct. Typically when we set up a service call, we quote Micrometers, Motors and the belt.
