ADL automated polarization in scan software (fluorescent Spectrophotometer) --- no recognition of polarizers

I've used the ADL automated polarization in scan software (fluorescent Spectrophotometer)to monitor anisotropy in some samples.
Under the set up menu, in the accessories tab there's no recognition of the polarizer. Does this mean that polarization is not active on my measurements? Thank you

  • Hi Mariana,

that setup is only applicable for manual polarizers:

If you are using automated polarizers and the ADLs you can use Scan or Advanced reads to do some anisotropy or fluorescence polarization measurements. Depending on which ADL used (for Scan or Adv Reads) a different window will prompt with several parameters you will have to decide on before you do the measurement. This will enable you to find the anisotropy value or polarization value p for your samples.
